My Story

My lifelong love of travel and living abroad inspired me to leave my corporate job in 2014 and pursue a career in the travel industry. While Director of Private Groups at an international group tour operator, I oversaw 2,200+ passengers annually, maintaining smooth operations across many tours - many operating simultaneously - until travel paused in 2020. When most travel bans were lifted post-pandemic in 2022, I leveraged my strong client relationships and comprehensive knowledge to establish my independent business, utilizing existing contacts overseas, as well as finding new operators in the various destinations where I operate group tours.

Since then, I have leveraged my extensive hands-on experience to meticulously coordinate every aspect of running tours. This includes orchestrating group leaders and travelers, managing intricate operational and financial details, and collaborating closely with overseas operators to refine itineraries and adhere to budget requirements. I have supported a diverse array of group leaders, handled communication with individual travelers, and  handled operational complexities, ensuring precision and effectively managing flight delays/cancellations and on the ground emergencies.

Group tours are different than individual trips. The vehicles you ride in are different: I have transportation companies at my fingertips who can provide my groups with large buses, minibuses, or sprinter vans. Group airfare is different than buying a one-off plane ticket -  some air carriers serve groups well and some don't, and I know how to maximize the benefits that a group may be entitled to receive, as well as the pros/cons of various airline carriers and how they handle ticketing of a group.  I have go-to reliable tour guides in various corners of the earth. I am familiar with the common problems that can pop up along the way in the planning and execution of a group trip, and I'm actively trying to troubleshoot these potential roadblocks before they become issues. I have encountered flight cancellations and schedule changes - and part of the value I add to my group tours is knowing how to navigate these problems when they arise and dealing with it so the travelers do not have to figure it out for themselves.  All of these skills have been learned in my 10 years of handling group tours.
